All prices quoted are in pounds sterling (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate where applicable.
Payment terms, deposit requirements, and stage payment schedules will be set out in the written contract for each project. We reserve the right to suspend works if payments are not made in accordance with the agreed terms.
Any variations to the agreed scope of works will be priced and agreed in writing before additional work is undertaken.
Where we agree to manage planning permission or building regulations applications on your behalf, we will use reasonable skill and care in doing so. However, we cannot guarantee that any application will be approved, as decisions rest with the relevant local authority.
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that all necessary consents, permissions, and approvals are obtained before works commence. We will advise you of the consents required but ultimate responsibility rests with you as the property owner.
We provide a 10-year structural guarantee on all building works carried out by us. This guarantee covers defects arising from faulty workmanship or materials used by us. It does not cover:
The guarantee is provided to the original client and is not automatically transferable to subsequent property owners unless agreed in writing.
We maintain appropriate public liability insurance and employers' liability insurance. Details of our insurance cover will be provided on request. Clients are advised to notify their own buildings and contents insurer before building works commence.
